Howard Football Home Opener: Friday, September 4

Friday night football is a great opportunity for our students, families, staff, alumni, and community members to come together and show their Lion Pride. As we begin the season, we ask everyone attending to help us create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for our student-athletes and guests.

Tickets

Tickets for football games are $5 for students and adults and should be purchased electronically through GoFan. Cash will not be accepted.

  • Senior citizens age 60 and older and children under age 7 are admitted free.
  • We encourage spectators to purchase tickets in advance and to have their electronic tickets ready before approaching the stadium entrance.

Student & Spectator Expectations

All HCPSS rules, policies, and expectations remain in effect during athletic contests. Athletic events are considered an extension of the school day, and we expect our students and spectators to represent Howard High School with pride and good sportsmanship.

Please remember:

  • Students should be prepared to provide proof of current high school enrollment.
  • Spectators should remain in the designated spectator areas throughout the contest.
  • Please arrange transportation so students are picked up promptly following the game.
  • There is no re-entry once a spectator leaves the stadium.
  • Smoking, vaping, alcohol, marijuana, and other prohibited substances are not permitted on school property.
  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the stadium.
  • Ball playing and horseplay by spectators are not permitted.
  • Spectators may not enter the playing field or team areas before, during, or following the contest.
  • No backpacks are permitted in the stadium during the contest.

Sportsmanship

Howard High School takes great pride in creating a positive game-day environment.

  • We ask all spectators to show respect toward our student-athletes, coaches, officials, cheerleaders, band members, visiting teams, and fellow fans.
  • Please cheer for our Lions without directing negative comments toward opponents, officials, coaches, or other spectators. Profanity, harassment, throwing objects, or other disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • HCPSS athletic events are meant to bring our community together, and we appreciate everyone's help in making Howard a welcoming place for all who attend.
