Per HCPSS policy, Final Exams may not be taken prior to the assigned exam period. If a student is absent during an exam, they must schedule a make-up exam during the summer. The process for scheduling make-ups is identified below.

Tuesday, June 16
- 11:35 am dismissal
- AM ARL students go to ARL and report back at normal time
- Period 2 and 3 exam
Wednesday, June 17
- 11:35 dismissal
- No AM ARL
- Period 4B and 5 exam
Thursday, June 18
- 11:35 am dismissal
- No AM ARL
- Period 4A and 6 exam
Final Exam Make-ups: Summer Scheduling
Please use the following process to schedule a summer make-up exam. Ms. Jennifer Johnson is the point of contact; she can be reached at (410) 313 2867. Appointments must be made via phone call. If a student is unable to schedule a time on the dates listed below, exams will be completed upon return for the 2026-2027 school year. Final exams taken over the summer will not be graded until staff return in August. A grade of ‘Z’ will appear on the report card until a make-up exam is graded and entered in Synergy.
Make-Up Exams are available to schedule by the hour (8 am, 9 am, 10 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm)* on the following dates. Students need to complete testing by 3 pm.

*A break is scheduled between 11 am and 12 pm for HoHS staff supervising exams.
Exam procedures
- Students will be required to place electronics (phones, smart watches, wearable devices, including Meta glasses) in a separate location during testing
- All testing will be supervised by HoHS staff
- All tests will be paper format
- Any academic integrity issues will be handled using the Howard County Code of Conduct
