If you are a 10th - 12th grader, you are encouraged to sign up to take the ASVAB test for free!The ASVAB Test and Career Exploration Program results will help you consider your career options for after high school. The ASVAB Career Exploration Program (CEP) is a comprehensive career planning tool that enables meaningful career exploration and post-high school planning. The ASVAB CEP harnesses the power of the world's most validated aptitude test paired with an interest inventory, to empower young people to explore the world of work and make an individualized post-secondary plan. While it is also used as the US Military entrance exam, it is NOT just for those pursuing the military (although it is required if you want to enlist in any military branch)!
WHEN: Fri., October 24th, 8am - 10:30am (you will miss periods 1- 3)*
WHERE: Howard HS Auditorium
WHO: Any 10th - 12th grader who wants the opportunity to explore careers tailored to their interests and skills and discuss the paths to get there.
*If you attend morning classes at HCC or ARL, you'll need to communicate this absence with your teachers in advance and arrange to make up missed work.
