The Best Buddies Club at Howard High School is a student-led organization dedicated to creating opportunities for one-to-one friendships, leadership development, and inclusion for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our club fosters a culture of kindness, acceptance, and mutual respect by pairing students with and without IDD in meaningful, supportive relationships. Through various social events, activities, and community service projects, we aim to build a more inclusive school environment where every student feels valued and included.
The objective of the Best Buddies Club at Howard High School is to promote friendship, inclusion, and leadership opportunities for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We strive to break down social barriers and create a more inclusive school community by facilitating one-to-one friendships and organizing activities that encourage positive social interactions. Our goal is to empower all students to develop lasting relationships and become advocates for inclusion within and beyond our school community.
