New Attendance Protocols for the Spring 2021 Semester
Attendance: All absence, tardy, and early dismissal notes must be submitted from the
parent email to: HoHSAbsence@hcpss.org
Tardy: Tardiness will be excused upon receipt of the email daily per HCPSS guidelines. We will not be
Early Dismissals: Students will be given a pass to leave their class after receipt of an email requesting
the dismissal and will sign out as they leave at a table outside the attendance window. The parent does
not come into the building.
Emergencies: If you need to pick up your student without prior notification to the front office,
you will need to come to the building and ring the doorbell. You are required to wear a mask
and practice safe social distancing.
You will be admitted into the vestibule where you will hold up your ID in the window so that the
secretary can verify your identity. We will then call the student down and have them sign-out
and meet you outside. You will still need to send an email explaining/excusing the
early dismissal. We will not be accepting notes.
