ImPact Concussion Baseline Testing

Mon, 10/05/2015 - 8:30am

ImPACT concussion baseline test is a test of cognitive function including memory and reaction time.  The purpose of the testing is to determine normal brain function levels that later can be used to help determine when it is appropriate for the athlete to safely return to play in the event of a head injury.
If a student does not take the ImPACT test prior to trying out, his/her chances of making the team could be jeopardized.  The following winter  sports are considered to be a contact/collision sport:  Basketball, Cheerleading, Wrestling or Pole Vault
Students and/or Parents must sign up for testing
Signing up will guarantee a spot for testing, without an appointment students may not test.
